Elizabeth is General Partner and Co-Founder at Hustle Fund based in Silicon Valley. She is a tech entrepreneur (with an exit) turned startup investor with experience in building and operating new tech products and companies.
Hustle Fund is a VC fund that invests in pre-seed software startups in the US and Canada. They are often the first check into a startup or in the first round of funding. Beyond the usual criteria that VCs typically look for, Hustle Fund prioritizes founders' speed of execution above all else. Per their name, they also make a fast decision after speaking with a company.
Previously, Elizabeth was Partner at 500 Startups where she ran the seed program in Mountain View and invested in seed stage startups. 500 Startups is one of the most active seed stage venture capital firms in the world and has invested in over 2,000 companies via its 4 global funds and 14 micro-funds and its global portfolio of investments spans over 60 countries.
Before 500 Startups, she was CEO and Founder of LaunchBit, an adtech platform startup, which she built and exited (acquired in 2014), and before that she was Product Marketing Manager: Developer Products at Google.
Elizabeth is the Founder of Hustle Con. It started as a conference series for non-technical entrepreneurs to launch and scale their startups, and has since morphed into a fast growing media company called The Hustle that highlights inspirational stories about accomplishing extraordinary things.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
