Pier is an Associate at Iliad Partners where he is constantly looking to meet and interact with the best entrepreneurs in the MENA region and beyond. He has a background in banking, venture capital and startup acceleration and comes from a small business family where he experienced first-hand the impact that entrepreneurship has on our everyday lives.

 

Before joining Iliad Partners, Pier was the Associate at the Techstars Hub71 accelerator program in Abu Dhabi. He helped startups from all over the world prepare for fundraising, advising on how to set up their financial processes and infrastructure.

Pier began his investment career in Berlin working as an Investment Analyst at Foundamental, a global VC investor in construction and mining tech. Here he had the opportunity to analyze and source some of the most promising startups in the field.

 

At the start of his professional career, Pier spent his time in investment banking as part of Morgan Stanley’s corporate credit research department. 

 

Pier holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan as well as a Master’s degree in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, Arizona.

Pier is a native Italian speaker, is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish.
